ABOUT ALL4WASH
Utilstrekkelig vannforsyning og sanitærforhold forblir en uoverstigelig utfordring med alvorlige konsekvenser for miljøet, livsopphold og folkehelsen. Fattige og marginaliserte grupper, spesielt kvinner, jenter og etniske minoriteter, rammes uforholdsmessig hardt. Å takle disse utfordringene krever utvidet og fornyet internasjonalt samarbeid, samt styrking av kapasiteten til å støtte vann- og sanitetsrelaterte aktiviteter og programmer.
The ALL4WASH project brings together the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, three Africa Centres of Excellence in water supply and sanitation, and their alliance universities in Mali, Uganda, and South Africa to confront global and local water and sanitation challenges through cooperation.
The project aims to strengthen inclusive education and research in sustainable water supply and sanitation in the partner universities through:
- co-curriculum development
- student and academic staff exchange
- joint research projects
- co-supervision
The project is funded by the Norwegian Partnership for Global Academic Cooperation, NORPART.
