ABOUT ALL4WASH
Inadequate water supply and sanitation remain an intractable challenge with dire consequences for the environment, livelihoods, and public health. Poor and marginalised groups, particularly women, girls, and ethnic minorities, are disproportionately affected. Addressing these challenges requires expanded and renewed international cooperation, as well as capacity building to support water and sanitation-related activities and programs.
The ALL4WASH project brings together the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, three Africa Centres of Excellence in water supply and sanitation, and their alliance universities in Mali, Uganda, and South Africa to confront global and local water and sanitation challenges through cooperation.
The project aims to strengthen inclusive education and research in sustainable water supply and sanitation in the partner universities through:
- co-curriculum development
- student and academic staff exchange
- joint research projects
- co-supervision
The project is funded by the Norwegian Partnership for Global Academic Cooperation, NORPART.
